POTSDAM -- SLC Arts has a new virtual arts program, Arts 4 Art’s Sake, which is streamed live, weekdays at 4 p.m. via Facebook.
Each episode showcases local artists sharing their work and environment with the greater community. Previously recorded shows dating back to April 1 are available at www.slcartscouncil.org.
Episodes include studio tours, musical performances, poetry readings and art demonstrations.
Frazer Computing has sponsored each show streaming during the week of April 27.
The week’s programming will include an Alexander Technique exercise by Beth Robinson, a SLAP group poetry reading and a musical performance by Jill and Doug Rubio.
There will also be art demonstrations by two talented Frazer employees: Catherine LaPointe Vollmer, who will share her pastel drawing and art studio, and Christopher Weller, who will discuss his digital artwork.
