POTSDAM – The St. Lawrence County Arts Council has announced its line-up of drawing and painting classes for teens and adults this February.
All classes are held at Downtown Snell Hall in Potsdam. Contact the SLC Arts Council to register and pre-pay for classes at 265-6860 or www.slcartscouncil.org.
Now, when you register for a class through the SLC Arts Council website, you have the option to pay on-line using your PayPal account or a credit card.
• Watercolor Painting Adirondack Fish with Ashlee M. Kniskern – Mondays, Feb. 7 & 21, 7-8 p.m. – Teens-Adult. Learn basic watercolor and drawing techniques while painting realistic replicas of fish found in the lakes, rivers and streams of the Adirondacks. $15 per class.
• Comics Club! with Dave W. Ferry – Saturday, Feb. 19, noon-3 p.m. – Teens-Adult. This monthly class introduces youth and adults to the world of comic creation. Beginners welcome –register. Class Fee: $20.
• Charcoal Drawing with Dave W. Ferry - Thursday, Feb. 24, 6-7 p.m. - Teens-Adult. This class features a unique student-created arrangement of interesting objects for still-life practice. Future classes will be offered every second & fourth Thursday. Class fee: $18, plus $2 materials fee (includes charcoal & charcoal paper).
