MASSENA — The 2nd Annual Rescue Me Golf Tournament, sponsored by North Country Wellness Resource, is scheduled for Saturday, June 17, at 9 a.m. at Cedar View Golf, Route 37C in Massena.

Cost for the 18-hole tournament is $320 ($80 per person), or $280 ($70 per person for Cedar View members) and includes tournament fees, greens fees, cart fees and a registration gift.

North Country Wellness Resource donated $1,000 apiece to five area organizations in 2022 from tournament proceeds.

“This year, we hope to raise even more money” said Julianne Fowler, Event Coordination for North Country Wellness Resource and the Massena Hospital Foundation. “The cost of everything has increased. Every dollar counts when it comes to funding these amazing volunteers who spring into action when emergencies arise.”

Proceeds from the “Rescue Me” golf tournament will be distributed to organizations within the Massena Hospital service area that are represented at the tournament - either with a member playing on a team or someone volunteering for a portion of the day.
