WADDINGTON -- The Waddington Hepburn Library will host a variety of events from July 16-20.
A reptile presentation from the Thompson Park Zoo will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. July 16. Lizards, chinchillas and other animals will be shown. The presentation will be held at the Waddington Beach pavilion.
A ghost hunt will be held July 17 at the Waddington-Hepburn Library from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. It will be hosted by library director Mary Lajoie who has 30 years of experience as a paranormal investigator.The ghost hunt is geared toward children and teen 12 to 17 years old. Participants must bring camera and a voice recorder.
A puppet theatre will be presented by the Frederic Remington Children's Museum July 18 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Waddington Beach pavilion.
An amphibian show will be presented by the Indian Creek Nature center July 19 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Waddington Beach pavilion.
Singer and musician Nan Hoffman will present "Books that sing" at the Waddington-Hepburn Library July 20 from 4 to 5 p.m. She will perform a variety of songs to promote music and reading.
