RENSSELAER FALLS -- Village residents are invited to “Light Up the Falls” to kick off the holiday season by participating in the village wide holiday lights contest.
Santa’s elves will be driving through the village on Dec. 19 to judge each display.
Make sure you have your lights on from 5 to 9 p.m. that day.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Creative Inflatables, Clark Griswold Style (bright), and Traditionally Elegant.
Winners will be announced via Facebook.
To show off your holiday light display, register by calling or texting Jolene Lasiege, village trustee, at (315) 869-8681 or Brianna Backus at (315) 854-2880.
