OGDENSBURG – The Frederic Remington Art Museum announces the Art Highlights and Tea Series schedule for 2011.
This volunteer-powered series is now in its 15th year and begins Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. with museum curator Laura Foster.
Foster, whose topic is ‘Adventures in Lost Wax Bronze Casting,’ will use hands-on examples, photos from a recent foundry tour, and the museum’s original Remington sculptures to share amusing insights into the process that made Remington's sculptures.
Reservations can be made by calling the museum at 393-2425 and asking for Lauren Gilmour.
