POTSDAM — Raquette River Racing is organizing a 1K and mini-marathon starting from A. A. Kingston Middle School, 29 Leroy St., on April 24 at 10 a.m.
Runners can sign up online by April 10 to guarantee your T-shirt and size by visiting https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Potsdam/AAK1KandMiniMarathon .
Check-in on race day is behind the school near the parking area from 9-10 a.m.
Proceeds from the run will benefit the B+ Foundation (children’s cancer support) and the NJHS.
The walk/runs are a 1-kilometer and a 2.62-mile starting behind the A. A. Kingston Middle School, 29 Leroy St., on Stevie’s Trail.
Registration cost is $15 and runners will get a t-shirt while they last.
Three awards per age group/division (medals and ribbons) will be awarded to participants.
Runners must wear masks until they are 12-feet apart during the run.
