POTSDAM – “Pruning Your Apple Trees & Other Orchard Fruits,” a workshop sponsored by The Sustainable Living Project and St. Lawrence Nurseries, is from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 12 at the nurseries on St. Rt. 345.
Local horticulture and orchard expert Bill MacKentley and staff Kathy Conway and Dean Thornton will show how and when to prune apple trees and answer questions regarding orchard.
A suggested donation of $10 to 20 is requested. More than a light drizzle of rain or snow will postpone the workshop.
