POTSDAM -- An eight-week Bible study, Parables of Christ: Applying His Word, began on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Potsdam United Methodist Church. These studies, held from 5-6 p.m., will be through Google Meet, a virtual computer and phone call in.

• Week 5, The rich fool: Luke 12: 13-21 (Oct 7);
• Week 6, The great Banquet: Luke 14: 15-24 (Oct 14);
• Week 7, The radical Son: Luke 15: 11-32 (Oct 21); and
• Week 8, The pharisee and the tax collector: Luke 18: 9-14.
