POTSDAM — The Potsdam Food Co-op will hold an ice cream social from noon to 3 p.m. during their 3rd Feature Friday on Aug. 19. There will be five flavors of Alden's Organic Ice Cream featured and available for tasting. They are vanilla bean, vanilla & chocolate swirl, chocolate chocolate chip, mint chip, and strawberry.
All are organic and each 48 oz tub will be on sale: $2 off during the entire month of August.
Aldens has no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial sweeteners, no artificial flavoring, no GMOs, no carrageenan, and no antibiotics. They are also certified gluten-free and kosher certified.
Samples will be offered: $3 for one scoop and $5 for two of any flavor, served either in a bowl, on an organic sugar cone or a gluten-free sugar cone. There will also be a free raffle for a tub of vanilla & chocolate swirl for a winner to take home.
The Potsdam Food Co-op & Carriage House Bakery and Deli is located at 24 Elm Street, open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. with curbside service available.
