POTSDAM – The Potsdam Community Band will begin rehearsals Monday, Nov. 14 in its preparation for the coming winter concert Saturday, Jan. 7. New and returning members are encouraged to attend rehearsals (at least two) in order to play the January concert.
The rehearsals will be led by Potsdam High School band director Theresa Witmer. Membership in the band is open to all adults who play traditional wind band instruments: woodwinds, brasswinds, and percussion.
Rehearsals are also scheduled for Monday, Nov. 28 and Dec. 12 at the Potsdam High School band room at 7 at 7 p.m.
A final pre-concert rehearsal will take place on Thursday, Jan. 5, location yet to be determined. Email the organizers at PotsdamCommunityBand@gmail.com, or contact Ron Berry, Personnel Manager at 265-2883.
