POTSDAM – The Potsdam Central PTSA is hosting a Family Night featuring the award-winning authors of The Adirondack Kids Book Series, Gary and Justin VanRiper.
The event will take place in the Lawrence Avenue Elementary School Kiva on Thursday, March 1 at 7 p.m.
Families with children of all ages and community members are welcome. Gary and Justin VanRiper are a father and son writing team residing in Camden, N.Y., of the Tug Hill Region.
The Adirondack Kids began as a short writing exercise when Justin was in third grade. Their exciting stores about Justin, his cat Dax, and their adventures in our very own Adirondack region have grown into a best-selling Kids chapter book series, currently with 11 books in publication.
Books will be available for purchase at the event for $8.
There will be door prizes from businesses and services in the local Adirondack region.
