CANTON – The Little River Community School will hold its 11th annual Winterfest on Saturday, Feb. 12, from 1-4 pm.
There will be free fun for the whole family with outdoor activities and indoor craft projects. Live music by Bill Olson and friends, and a performance by saxophonist Sebastian Molnar will be featured. Outside, the children can take pony rides, play in snow castles and sled and then come in for hot cider and cookies. Inside, families can make Goon Goo, snowflakes, have their fortune told, make paper or have their faces painted. All activities are free and open to the public.
The school is located 5 miles south of Canton at 1227 CR 25, on the Canton-Russell Road. Call the school at 379-9474 for information or visit www.littleriverschool.org.
