Peak Moment TV,” shown in St. Lawrence County on WCKN-tv, cable channel 30, will present “Planting the Seeds for a New Society” April 16 and 17 at 7 p.m.

Host Janaia Donaldson chats with Judith Plant and the New Society Publishers (NSP) team whose missions is to act as social change agents bringing emerging ideas and authors to the forefront.

“We’re a conduit and a packager of important cutting edge material that people need to do the work that they’re engaged in,” says Plant. The NSP team talks about the need for women’s voices in social change; rootedness in place, and how their boots-on-the-ground, solution-oriented books are antidotes to fear.

NSP has been publishing books to build a new society for over 30 years. They deliberately go out to talk to their readers. Hearing what they want, then search for authors to address topics readers are asking for. They focus on bringing their readers tools for a world of change. NSP books are packed with ideas on the cutting edge analysis, inspiration for the daily struggle, and practical tools to change the world. Learn more at www.newsociety.com
