PARISHVILLE -- The Parishville Area Recreation Club (PARC) will host a “Haunted Trail & Monster Mash” at the Parishville Beach on Friday, Oct. 19 from 5:30-9 p.m. The event is open to the public and suitable for all ages.
There will be a suggested donation of $10 per car at the gate and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the PHCS Junior & Senior Classes.
Activities include a Monster Mash dance with disco lights, a non-haunted hayride around the fields, bobbing for apples, a Carved Pumpkin Competition, Face Painting, a costume parade, a “Lil’ Grave Digger” area and of course the Haunted Trail.
Bring your own carved pumpkin and enter it into a competition for only $1.
All pumpkins will be displayed and attendees will be given the opportunity to vote for their favorite. In addition, event organizers will select a “Scariest” and “Most Unique” pumpkin.
Cash prizes will be awarded based upon the number of entries.
There will also be concessions for sale consisting of hot dogs, chips, drinks and S’more kits.
A small supervised campfire will be available for S’more making.
