POTSDAM -- The book discussion group sponsored by the St. Lawrence County Branch of the American Association of University Women will discuss “The Paris Wife: A Novel” by Paula McLain April 11 at noon at the Potsdam Public Library.
In her book, McLain focuses on the marriage of Ernest Hemmingway and Hadley Richardson, his first wife . The setting is 1920s Paris during the early Jazz Age and features writers such as Ezra Pound, Gertrude Stein and F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald.
