BRASHER FALLS -- Performances by Olympians, world figure and fancy skating medalists and other skaters will all be part of the Family Gala and Skating Benefit Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Tri-Town Community Center, Route 11C.
The event will take place from 1:50-3 p.m. and will raise money to support St. Thérèse Academy and World Figure Sport.
Olympic and World Cup figure skater Karen Courtland Kelly will be on hand for special program and talk at the benefit. Courtland Kelly is a former American pair skater. With partner Todd Reynolds, she won the bronze medal at the United States Figure Skating Championships in 1993 and 1994 and finished 14th at the 1994 Winter Olympic Games.
Tickets for the event cost $10 or $20 for families. There will be a group rate for students and families of St. Thérèse Academy & Holy Name School.
