OGDENSBURG -- The city Parks and Recreation Department is starting its youth open hockey and public skating sessions for the season.
Youth open hockey begins Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Lockwood Arena.
Open hockey is set for each Tuesday during the season, except for school vacations.
Coaches Rick Jacobs and Mike Fennessy will work with youth, providing instruction.
Cost is $2 per skater.
Public skating at Lockwood Arena begins Wednesday, Nov. 14, and will continue each Monday and Wednesday from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and each Sunday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. The schedule will vary during school breaks.
Cost is $1 for children and $2 for adults. Skate rentals are $3.
The schedule for Rock-N-Skates will vary from week to week, and will be posted on the Recreation Department’s Facebook page. Cost is $5 with free skate rentals.
