OGDENSBURG -- Parents who need a break from their children can drop them off from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club’s annual Santa Land.
The event will be held in the OFA cafeteria A. Santa Land is free of charge.
“Santa Land is the OFA Key Club’s annual gift to the families of the greater Ogdensburg community for all the support they give us throughout the year,” said OFA Key Club Santa Land co-chair Cadence Payne.
“If parents need some time to finish shopping, decorating or preparing for the holidays, our members will provide their children with an opportunity to enjoy the season while mom and dad finish their preparations,” said Santa Land co-chair Rheana Cameron.
Registration begins at 9:45 a.m.
Santa Land will provide children between the ages of four to eight several activities including:
• Decorating a Christmas cookie
• Making a holiday decoration
• Writing a letter to Santa
• Making a Christmas card
• Listening to a Christmas story
• Watching a holiday movie
• A visit by Santa Claus at 11:30 a.m.
And other Christmas season activities.
The Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club is a high school service club sponsored by the Ogdensburg Kiwanis Club.
