OGDENSBURG – Harold is coming to Ogdensburg, along with his famous purple crayon, when Ogdensburg Command Performances presents Enchantment Theatre’s newest national touring production, “The Adventures of Harold and the Purple Crayon.” The show will appear at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24 in George Hall Auditorium.
Based on the seven delightful picture books by author Crockett Johnson, the show follows the zany adventures of an inventive young boy.
Resourceful and brave, Harold creates the world he wants to explore, using nothing more than his crayon and his sky’s-the-limit imagination.
Enchantment will take the audience on a wild ride as Harold jets to the Red Planet (Martians, space ships), joins a circus (he tames a lion!) and meets a princess in an enchanted garden (of course there’s a dragon!)
Tickets for the matinee performance range in price from $7 to $16.50. To purchase tickets call OCP at 393-2625 or go to www.ILoveTheatre.org.
