POTSDAM – The book discussion group sponsored by the St. Lawrence County Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will be discussing “The Housekeeper and the Professor” by Yoko Ogawa Wednesday, March 9, at noon at the Potsdam Library.
First published in Japanese in 2003, this novel won the prestigious Yomiuri Prize and was adapted for the film The Professor's Beloved Equation.
The book for discussion next month, April 13, is the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction “Tinkers” by Paul Harding. For more information, call 265-7230.
