MASSENA -- The New York Power Authority’s Hawkins Point Visitors Center will sponsor a festival of free family-friendly movies during the school spring break, April 9-13.
Movies will be shown at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the visitors center theater and admission is free.
Movies and show times follow:
• Monday, April 9: 10 a.m. “Alvin and the Chipmunks;” 1 p.m. “Hop;” 3 p.m. “Happy Feet Two”
• Tuesday, April 10: 10 a.m. “Wall-E; ” 1 p.m. “Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked;” 3 p.m. “G-Force”
• Wednesday, April 11: 10 a.m. “The Princess and the Frog;” 1 p.m. “Puss in Boots;” 3 p.m. “The Adventures of Tintin”
• Thursday, April 12: 10 a.m. “Toy Story 3;” 1 p.m. “Hugo;” 3 p.m. “Footloose”
• Friday, April 13: 10 a.m. “Tooth Fairy 2;” 1 p.m. “We Bought a Zoo;” 3 p.m. “Despicable Me”
In addition to the movies, visitors can enjoy the array of hands-on exhibits at the free Hawkins Point facility, which presents information on such themes as water power and the St. Lawrence-FDR project, basics of electricity and uses of electricity. Another highlight is the panoramic view of the project’s power dam from Hawkins Point.
The visitors center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
