MASSENA—The New York Power Authority’s Hawkins Point Visitors Center will be showing two family-friendly movies on Thursday, Nov. 11—the Veterans Day holiday.
Movies will be shown at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the visitors center theater.
The schedule is as follows:
10 a.m.: “The Karate Kid” (2010). Work causes a single mother to move to China with her young son. While in China, the boy embraces kung fu, taught to him by a master.
1 p.m.: “How to Train Your Dragon” (2010). A hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed.
