MASSENA — An NRA basic pistol class will be held and hosted by the Massena Rod and Gun Club on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. with a lunch break.
The cost: $125 (or $175 if a student does not have their own firearm and ammunition).
This class is for everyone whether they are a first-time firearms owner or a long-time firearms owner.
The class covers the safe handling and operation of pistols, including proper grip, stance, sight alignment and sight picture, and includes safe, supervised, and organized live fire in the afternoon.
All instructors are NRA Certified and students will receive a certificate of completion from the National Rifle Association.
