NORWOOD -- The Norwood Village Green Concert Series plans for 2020 have been altered and will continue to change as more information and restrictions emerge related to the COVID-19 crisis, said a press release from organizers.
The goal is not to cancel performances but to reschedule them to later in the season or to 2021, the release said.
Performers are keeping communications open with the series program director and vice versa to update the performance schedule.
Check the series' Facebook page or its website for further updates or call the series at 315-261-2866 for more information.
The schedule as of April 6 includes:
• Thursday, May 28, SLCMEA Festival cancelled, will resume in 2021;
• Thursday, June 4, Rustic Riders NNCS Program, postponed to an in-school program for September or October, more details to be announced;
• Sunday, June 7, The Girls;
• Thursday, June 11, Topaz Reunion Concert;
• Sunday, June 14, Aviva Chernick, postponed to Sunday, Aug. 9;
• Thursday, June 18, Annie and the Hedonists;
• Sunday, June 21, The Giroux Brothers Jazz Quintet;
• Thursday, June 2, Northern Symphonic Winds;
• Sunday, June 28, Johnny and the Triumphs featuring Gwen Tracy;
• Thursday, July 2, The Gibson Brothers;
• Sunday, July 5, The All Star Big Band under the direction of Wally Siebel with guest artist Andy Martin;
• Sunday, July 12, Jordan Davison & Tony Zygadlo and Lonel Woods & Julie Miller;
• Thursday, July 16, Mikaela Davis and Southern Star;
• Sunday, July 19, Sultans of String;
• Thursday, July 23, The Brass Firemen;
• Sunday, July 26, Maggie Gould & Nanny Assis and Friends;
• Thursday, July 30, Honey Dew Drops;
• Saturday, Aug. 1, String Solstice;
• Sunday, Aug. 2, Koehler and Kelly;
• Monday, Aug. 3, Waydown Wailers; and
• Sunday, Aug. 9, Aviva Chernick, rescheduled from June 14.
All concerts will be staged at 7 p.m.
