NORWOOD – The Norwood Public Library continues its summer reading series “Make a Splash – Read” with several programs aimed at different age groups this August.
Children 7 to 12 years old can take part in a week of water crafts from 10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 2 to Aug. 6.
Junior trivia sheets are available for children 12 to 16 in the Hubert Clark Children’s Library area. Each week, participants can turn in completed sheets at the circulation desk, and winners will be drawn from all correct entries.
Adults can also test their trivia skills with “Come Float Away” trivia dealing with the famous waterways. Sheets can be found in the display case in the hall. Weekly winners will be drawn from all correct entries.
And keep up with four local women traveling down the Mississippi River on the Delta Queen this summer by contributing to the 2,340-book goal—equivalent to the 2,340-mile river trek.
