POTSDAM — The North Country Children's Museum is offering two weeks of camp this summer.
Camps are for second through sixth graders and run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Camp drop off and pick up is at the museum in Potsdam.
Camps are led by NCCM education staff and university faculty. Cost is $195 per week with a 10% discount for museum members. Register online at northcountrychildrensmuseum.org/summercamps
Art & Theater Camp will be held from July 22- 26. Attendees will learn about drama and visual arts, dive into the literature of Shel Silverstein, learn about character development, set design, costume creation, poetry, mask and make-up, and theater with SUNY Potsdam Theater Faculty and NCCM arts educators.
Chemistry Lab Camp will be from July 29-Aug. 2. Children will safely explore chemical reactions through hands-on experiments with NCCM science educators and SUNY Canton Chemistry Faculty. Anyone interested in rockets, fireworks, volcanoes, and exploding gummy bears is encouraged to sign up.
