MASSENA -- Nicandri Nature Center will hold “Pollinator Palooza”, an event on Memorial Day Weekend, May 28, 29, and 30 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. each day to help visitors learn about pollinators and their importance in the environment.
Activities to be held throughout the day include:
10 a.m.: Honey Sampling and Comparison
11 a.m.: Mason Bee House Program and Craft
1 p.m.: Make Your Own Hummingbird Feeder
2 p.m.: Planting Your Own Pollinator Garden Talk and Garden Walk
All day each day there will be outdoor games, giveaways, and our pollinator obstacle course for kids to try.
The event is free of charge.
