OGDENSBURG -- ACT Children's Theater at St John's, located in Ogdensburg, just rounded out the cast for their upcoming production, "The Golden Age of Broadway: A Musical Cabaret."

The 15-member cast includes students from all across the North Country.

Performing in this show are Rheana Cameron, Jackson Duprey, Jillian LeBel, Madison Miller, Macy Murdock, Gabriella Ott, Cadence Payne, Delia Payne, Gerard Powers, Christopher Rodriguez, Sloane Ryan, and Dylan Sovie, all of Ogdensburg; Myles LaPoint of Edwards-Knox, Jocelyn Lazaro of Lisbon, and Ava Rutherford of Madrid-Waddington.

"The Golden Age of Broadway: A Musical Cabaret" is the first full-length performance by ACT Children's Theater, formerly St. John's Conservatory Theater.

"We are so very excited to be back creating theater opportunities for local youth," says Christopher Dwyer, co-founder of ACT. "Our new direction is to be strictly a children's theater and to branch into the world of existing Broadway shows."

ACT is made up of the creative team of Steven Chambers, Angela Conzone Dwyer, Christopher Dwyer, and Tonya Ott.

Other ACT events this year will include Christmas caroling, talent shows, acting classes, and a full-length Broadway musical in June.

"The Golden Age of Broadway" will be performed at St. John's Episcopal Church, located on the corner of Knox and Franklin streets.

Show dates are Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15 and 16 with a coffee, tea, and hors d'oeuvres reception at 5:30 and performances beginning at 7 p.m. each night.

General admission cost is $5 at the door.
