The North Country Children’s Museum will encourage children’s creativity, inquiry, and learning through active hands-on exhibits and programming at several St. Lawrence County locations this summer.
NCCM will highlight the cultural and geographical resources of the North Country through partnerships with local universities and businesses.
This summer the “Museum Without Walls” Robot Zone program will teach children about environmental sustainability and other scientific applications through programming and manipulating robots.
The Museum Without Walls Summer Schedule is as follows: Sunday, July 1, at Norwood Village Children’s Festival from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Saturday, July 14 at Potsdam Summer Fest from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, July 21 at Massena, NYPA Summer Spectacular from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, Aug. 5 at Madrid-Waddington, Homecoming Celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
