Murder Mystery Dinner slated for June 16 in South Colton

SOUTH COLTON -- The Sunday Rock Legacy Project’s (SRLP) annual fundraising Murder Mystery Dinner entitled “Moonshine Mountain Mystery” will take place on Sunday, June 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Robideau’s Mahogany Ridge Bar and Grill, 3927 State Highway 56.

This year, dinner and mystery participants will be transported to the hamlet of Eighty-Proof where they will attend a meeting discussing a plan to rip up railway rails and replace them with an ATV trail. The meeting doesn’t go well, and there is a unique twist. Someone is missing. Who? Why? How?

As part of the SRLP’s 2019 summer theme Rockin’ in the Great South Woods, the Murder Mystery Dinner will again feature actors from the Grasse River Players.

For just $40 (including tax and gratuities) mystery goers will be entertained and enjoy entrée choices of chicken cordon bleu, stuffed pork tenderloin, pasta primavera, or mahogany salmon plus a breadbasket, potatoes, a vegetable, salad, dessert, and coffee and tea. A cash bar also is available.

Reservations to this event are a must since only 50 seats are available. Interested parties should call 315-274-0351 to make reservations. The restaurant is handicapped accessible. Mystery guests may arrive any time after 1:15 p.m. to be seated.

This project is made possible in part with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the state Council on the Arts, administered by St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
