POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will wish Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart a happy 255th birthday with a special faculty concert of his works on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in Snell Music Theater.
Showcasing the depth and variety of Mozart's genius, the concert will feature many different kinds of works for instrument and voice. Pieces include "Sonata in D for Two Keyboards," aria "Ch'io mi scordi di te…Non temer, amato bene," "Nannerl's Notebook," the aria "Dalla dua pace," and "Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra in B-flat Major," among others.
This event is free, and the public is invited to attend.
