Morristown Fire Department to host volunteer firemen convention Aug. 25-27

MORRISTOWN -- The Morristown Fire Department will host the 2022 Northern NY Volunteer Fireman's Association Annual Convention from Thursday, Aug. 25 through, Saturday, Aug. 27.

The following is breakdown of events and numbers to call to book reservations.

Thursday, Aug. 25

10 a.m.

Captain -N - Crew golf tournament at Langbrook Meadows Golf Course in Brier Hill. $400 per team only 18 teams total. Contact Jay Moore to reserve your teams spot @ 315-323-9069 or mvfdchief251@gmail.com

12:30 p.m.

Two-hour Uncle Sam Boat Tour and a one hour stop at Singer Castle.

Cost is $55 per person, contact Angela LaJoy @315-323-1557 to reserve your seat.

1 p.m.

Food and cold beverages behind the fire station.

5 p.m.

Two hour evening boat cruise on Uncle Sam's Boat Tours on the St. Lawrence River. Cost is $35 per person, contact Angela LaJoy @ 315-323-1557 for reserve your seat.

7-10 p.m.

Live band will be playing on the pavilion behind the fire station.

Friday Aug. 26

Noon

Luncheon Catered by the MVFD Auxiliary.

2:30 p.m.

Memorial Service @ St. John's Church on Gouverneur Street.

4 p.m.

Vendors, food and cold beverages behind the fire station

6-10 p.m.

Several raffles and Games of Chance will be available this entire event and cold beer, wine, water, soda and food will be available throughout this event. This event is open the public.
