CANTON -- The twelfth Monthly Climate Action Vigil will be on the corner by the Canton Village Park in Canton on Friday, Feb. 7, from 4-5 p.m.
Organizers are encouraging new people to come to the vigil to hold large earth flags and bring signs calling for solutions to the growing climate crisis.
Local environmental groups and activists have started this ongoing vigil to call attention to the need to prevent and mitigate the effects of climate change.
The vigil is held on the first Friday of each month in Canton. Everyone is welcome to join. For more information write climateactionvigil@gmail.com.
