POTSDAM – A Monkeypox (JYNNEOS) vaccine clinic will be held Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 1 to 4 p.m. in Knowles Multi-Purpose Room on the SUNY Potsdam campus.

The clinic is free and available to the first 61 people who register by calling (315) 229-3452.

Anyone 18 years and older who considers themselves at high risk for Monkeypox is welcome to register. Parking is available in Lot 9.

Monkeypox is an infectious disease that anyone can get through close, personal, often skin-to-skin contact. The rash may look like pimples, blisters, or sores, often with an earlier flu-like illness.

More information about monkeypox is available on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website at: www.cdc.gov/poxvirus/monkeypox.
