Massena Salvation Army asks businesses, organizations, families to support Angel Tree program

MASSENA – The Salvation Army is asking Massena area businesses, organizations and families to sponsor children for their Angel Tree program this Christmas, and are looking for donated auction items for their upcoming radiothon.

“This year the Salvation Army would like to try something different to make sure all children on our Angel Trees receive their items on their wish list for Christmas,” said Administrative Assistant Sharon Girard.

“If this works out great, we may continue it each year,” she said.

Those interested in sponsoring one or more children can email Sharon.Girard@USE.SalvationArmy.Org or call 315-769-5154 for an Angel Tree Sponsor Form.

After Christmas application forms come in, sponsors will be emailed the age of each child, male or female, clothing size and wish list.

“Thank you for any help you can do to help the needy children in our community,” said Girard.

The Salvation Army is still accepting donated auction items to their radiothon December 3-5.

“We look forward to assisting many families this year who are in need, especially with the extra issues related to Covid-19. Thank you for your support,” said Girard.
