MASSENA – The annual spaghetti dinner to benefit Massena’s Meals on Wheels will be Friday, Sept. 27 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at 70 East Hatfield Rd.
Both eat in and takeout are meal options. The dining room at the Meals on Wheels office is available for eat in. For take-out orders, call 315-769-5083 for faster pick-up.
The spaghetti dinner will again be prepared by the Vino Vidi Vici restaurant. In addition, there will be tossed salad, bread, and homemade desserts.
The cost is $8 per person or $30 for immediate family members of four or more.
The dinner is the kick-off to the Meal on Wheels Week that also includes the radio telethon and Stock the Pot on Friday, Oct. 4.
Proceeds benefit the Massena Meals on Wheels program, a private not-for-profit agency that provides nutritious meals to the elderly, home bound, sick, and handicapped people in the greater Massena area.
It helps individuals maintain their independence by providing home-delivered meals, five days a week, delivered by caring volunteers who make personal contact with each client daily.
