MASSENA – A book talk and signing event of “Memoir: Why I Left the Amish Community,” by local author Sam Miller, will be held Wednesday, May 18, at 6:30 p.m. at Massena Public Library.
Miller will share his experiences, both good and bad, growing up as Swartzentruber Amish, one of the strictest Amish religions, and explain his difficult decision to leave.
The book will be available for sale in paperback for $14 and hardcover for $22.
The library is located at 41 Glenn Street, Massena.
