POTSDAM -- A one-day MASH Camp for students in grades 9–12 will be held Wednesday, April 17, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
The camp is offered through a partnership of the Northern Area Health Education Center, Inc. in Canton and St. Lawrence Health System. Thanks to sponsorship by Stewart’s Shops, the camp is free of charge.
Students will explore healthcare careers through hands-on activities in a wide variety of departments throughout the hospital, such as physical therapy, radiology, medical laboratory and others. Students will have the opportunity to interact with SimMan, an advanced patient simulator.
Participants are responsible for their own transportation and must meet vaccination requirements. Lunch is provided.
