MASSENA – A Mardi Gras celebration, Movie Day, and STEM building of straw rockets and kaleidoscopes are being offered at the Massena Public Library over winter break this week.
A Mardi Gras celebration will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 2-3 p.m. in the Children’s Room. Registration is required.
Family Movie Day will be Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 2-3:30 p.m. “My Neighbor Totoro” by Hayao Miyazaki will be shown. It follows a schoolgirl and her younger sister as they befriend playful spirits in their house and nearby forest. Registration is required.
A STEM science project to build straw rockets and kaleidoscopes will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, from 2-3 p.m. for children ages 6 and above, and their caregivers.
