POTSDAM -- The Department of Theatre and Dance at SUNY Potsdam will present its fall mainstage production, "Love and Information" by Caryl Churchill, from Nov. 1 to 3.

Directed by Rivka Rocchio, this mysterious and powerful play stokes questions around what it means to have and need information, and to have and need love. In an age of overwhelming amounts of information, where knowledge and facts seem separated, the play asks: Can love be enough to cut through the noise?

The 60-minute play will move throughout the Performing Arts Center, and features a collection of stories and characters around the theme of finding connection in a contemporary landscape.

"Love and Information" will run from Friday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 3, in SUNY Potsdam's Performing Arts Center. There will be evening performances at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2, with matinees offered at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2 and 3.

The play will be performed, designed and technically assisted by SUNY Potsdam students. The student actors include: Aysha Benjamin, Ronaldo Betancur, Jemdryl de la Cruz Bueno, Aaliyah Caballero, Nicholas Chadwell, Sara Chemi, Elinor Greenway, Mady Huston, Maddie James, Riley Keyser, Devin LaBare, Zoe Loveless, Tiffanie Morales, Christina Morris , Katie Paniccia, Joe Pease, Inuer Pichardo, Erick Samnarine, Aubrey Slaterpryce and Isabel Wildflower.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for SUNY Potsdam faculty, staff and students, and $5 for youth and senior citizens. Seating is general admission, and the doors will open a half hour before each performance.
