CHASE MILLS — Louisville’s Oktobeerfest will be Oct. 1 from noon-6 p.m. at the Whalen Park, 515 State Hwy. 131.
There will be food, dessert trucks, music, local breweries and wineries and local vendors.
Expected companies at the event include In-Law Brewery, Hex & Hop Brewery, Bright Star Winery, Maple Brewing, An Italian Affair, Pig & Moo BBQ, Clix Photo Booth, Newcombe’s Maple Ridge, Seaway Crafts, Amo’s Country Barn, Hardy’s Bakery, Sunny Side Up: Farm Fresh Products, Tessier’s Treasurers, Peet's Jewelers, Talk of the Town baked goods and more.
There will be a single elimination cornhole tournament at 1 p.m. Cost: $20 per team.
There will be live music with the Merryweather band and Easy Street band and a friendly rib cook-off.
