POTSDAM – The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce will host the third annual Fall Celebration Saturday, Sept. 17, featuring live music, children’s activities, train rides and a vendor/craft fair.

The activities for all ages are designed to help promote local businesses and welcome the fall season.

The family friendly event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Ives Park behind the Clarkson Inn as well as downtown.

Live music is planned in the Ives Park Gazebo as well as live music throughout the day in storefronts.

In Ives Park, live music will include Animal Crackers from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Nick Rycroft from noon to 1 p.m., Ben Todd from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and Stephanie Fansler and Rob Zolner from 3 to 4 p.m.

“I want to gather as a community to celebrate our businesses, and all of the beauty Fall in Potsdam has to offer,” Executive Director Megan Mulvenna said.

“Who doesn’t love the chill in the air and the leaves starting to change colors? I am excited for the day of activities and music and gathering together for such a full celebration. I can’t wait to see you there”

Other events taking place throughout Potsdam will include Sample Saturday at Willow Tree and a Sip & Play event at the North Country Children’s Museum.
