MASSENA -- The Nicandri Nature Center will have live animal programs on weekends all summer long. Mark Manske, from Adirondack Raptors, will showcase birds of prey on alternating Sundays this summer. Meet owls and hawks and learn all about what makes them special at his engaging programs meant for all ages. Raptor programs are July 10, July 24, August 7, August 21, and September 4 at 2 p.m.
Alternate Sundays will feature “Zowie’s Reptiles” where you can learn about what a reptile is, how they are adapted to survive, and meet some up close. Reptile programs are July 3, July 17, July 31, August 13 (Saturday), and August 28 at 2 p.m.
