CANTON — Little River Community School is having an open house on Thursday, June 17, 6:30 p.m. geared for students in grades 7-12.
It will be an opportunity to tour the building, informally hear about the program and the philosophy of the school, and time for questions and answers.
“Little River is a K-12 democratic school with a cooperative, multi-age learning environment and an 8:1 student teacher ratio,” a press release from the school said. “The school features hands-on experience, field trips, strong academic classes, and student input.”
The school is accepting applications for the 2021/2022 school year. Tuition aid, up to one half off the full price, is available to lower and middle-income families. Busing within a 15-mile radius is provided by the local school district.
