MADRID -- Buck's Bridge Community Church will host a "Lessons and Carols Service" Dec. 9, beginning at 5 p.m. The service consists mostly of singing Chrstmas carols, with Bible readings concerning the Nativity interspersed.
The service will close with the inaugural lighting of the church's new Memory Tree. For questions, or to make a dedication for the Memory Tree, please call or text Pastor Dennis Lowe at 600-3108, or email dennislowe@yahoo.com. Refreshments will be served following the event.
This service, on the Second Sunday of Advent, will close the season for Buck's Bridge Community Church until Palm Sunday, March 24, 2013. The regular service time is 7:30 p.m.
