POTSDAM – Teens and adults are invited to learn how to draw and how to improve photography skills in classes at the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
All classes are held at Downtown Snell Hall in Potsdam.

• Digital Photography Field Trip with Susan McDermott –Saturday, June 11, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Rain date is June 25). For teens & adults. A short overview of how to use digital cameras to get great outdoor shots, followed by an afternoon in and around the beautiful town of Potsdam to practice photography skills. Class fee: $55. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for this class by Friday, June 10 at noon.
• Integrative Arts with Ola Aldous – Thursdays, June 30- Aug. 4, 7:30-9 p.m. For teens & adults. This course will focus on the close relationship between music, art and poetry. Students will combine various artistic mediums building upon a concept of synesthetic experience. Students will have the opportunity to create their own free-style poetry and visual artwork in response to various musical pieces provided in class. Class fee: $90 for 6 weeks, plus $15 for materials.
