CANTON – Students at St. Lawrence University are holding Kick It for Krissy, an afternoon fundraiser to raise money for the family of 5-year-old Kristen “Krissy” Hays from Gouverneur who was recently diagnosed with leukemia.
The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 7 in SLU’s Newell Field House. Activities include Zumba with 9 local instructors from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. and a silent auction with prizes including Boston Red Sox tickets, a Lake Placid weekend getaway package, and autographed Saints hockey jerseys.
There will also be a 50/50 raffle, tie-dying, face and nail painting, a pie toss, bean bag toss, friendship bracelets and more.
Admission is any donation of $1 or more at the door.
