CANTON -- St. Lawrence University's Center for Civic Engagement will host “Kick It for Claire" April 13 from noon to 4 p.m. in Newell Field House.
Claire is a two-year-old Norwood resident with cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a life threatening disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Claire endures several treatments daily to maintain healthy lungs and digestion.
The event will feature a Zumba workout, a silent auction and many activities.
All proceeds will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for research and medical care.

Last year’s “Kick it for a Cause” event, started by Madison Wilcox and titled “Kick it for Krissy” raised $5,000 for a girl named Krissy with leukemia.
