HEUVELTON -- “Dogs & Sleds” with Iditarod veteran Spencer Thew & canine friends will be held Saturday, March 9, at 10 a.m. at Pickens Hall, 83 State St.
Admission is by donation. Thew will bring a sled and a few dogs and discuss his sport with man’s best friend. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet AKC registered Siberian huskies.
Call of the Wild, owned by Spencer Thew, is primarily a Siberian husky racing kennel, focusing on mid-distance races in USA and Canada.
Spencer is an Iditarod veteran with 30 years' experience.
